Guest Ratings & Reviews
Despite a few drawbacks, the hotel offers a typical value-for-money experience in Central London. The rooms are on the small side and lack some amenities like ceiling curtains, but the central location and friendly staff make up for it.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The room was conveniently located near the reception but was small and shabby at the top of 49 spiral steps, making it challenging to keep cool in the hot temperatures. On the bright side, the hotel's location was great for accessing the underground and close to shops and restaurants. The service was friendly overall, although there were some moments when staff seemed less focused on customer satisfaction. The dining experience was simple but acceptable, offering a choice of hot or continental breakfast. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were no biscuits with the tea making facilities in the room.
The hotel's location is excellent, close to Edgware Road and within easy reach of shopping areas. The rooms were small, with limited storage, and some cleanliness issues. However, the proximity to popular sights and amenities was convenient. The service was helpful, especially with room arrangements, but some staff interactions were lacking warmth. Dining options were basic but satisfactory, and the facilities were adequate.
The hotel had a great location, near two tube stops and within walking distance to major central London attractions. Our room was simple, basic, and clean, but quite small without much space for luggage. The service was friendly overall, especially from Irina, but the catering staff seemed unhappy. The dining experience was quite simple but with a decent selection of breakfast options. The hotel facilities were satisfactory, meeting our basic needs.
Even though the rooms were dirty with human hairs on the bed sheets and covers, and the condition was generally poor despite efforts to ventilate, I found the location fantastic with proximity to Paddington station and Edgware Road Station. The helpful service, especially during check-in, made up for the aged rooms and poor breakfast. The dining experience could have been better, but the unrestricted access to leave luggage with the reception was a bonus.
